Product Review: UN Unisyn

This is one for those who,
i) find it difficult to eat proper meals in a day due to whatever reasons
ii) want to cut down on eating out and yet do not want to cook for whatever reasons
iii) have no problem with daily meals but would like to mix it up
iv) 2 words: weight management.
I could prolly come up with a couple more reasons but you kinda get the picture. An MRP is quite versatile really and having tried this one from Universal, I must say that it's actually pleasant. Mixed almost instantly into a thick homogenous mixture and the whiff of it is enticing.

As I clear my thoughts and took the first gulp, the first thing that hit me was how natural tasting it was. Not too sweet, just the right texture and satiating. I could live with this... it's like space food.
Featuring a full profile of vitamins and minerals with the right balance of the macro - protein (44g) , carbs (22g) and fats (1.4g), Unisyn really does look like sound nutrition in a pack. But honestly, nothing beats solid food so I'd best put this one in only for convenience factor rather than banking on it extensively.

Product Review: UN Storm
With the barrage of creatine supplements out there today, how does one make a right choice?
Stick to a monohydrate? That's so yesterday man... But seriously, it really becomes tough to decide sometimes.
Now if you approach it objectively, there are essentially 3 things to consider: cost, efficacy and quality. With that in mind, Universal Nutrition comes to thought. I checked out Storm, a creatine complex from the brand...
It say's fruit punch flavour on the tub of 1.81 lbs, but really, its more like cherry. Not that it's bad or anything like that, but perhaps a bit of an acquired taste. You either like it, learn to live with it or chuck it entirely.

Each of the 80 servings the container packs will provide a blend of 4 different forms of creatine. Apart from good ol' monohydrate, there's also a tricreatine, a malate and magnesium chelate which should provide for better saturation in the body. From personal experience, it really is all about concentration over time.
That aside, Storm also provides minute amounts of betaine, citrulline malate, arginine and beta-alanine. Very popular ingredients to supplement especially for sports...
